Gesenius - integrity, innocense

Strongs - feminine of H8537; innocence, integrity

Google - Integrity is the practice of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or earnestness of one's actions. Integrity can stand in opposition to hypocrisy. It regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that people who hold apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter those values.

The word integrity evolved from the Latin adjective integer, meaning whole or complete. In this context, integrity is the inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character.

Job holds fast to his integrity

Job 27:5 Eloheem forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me. My righteousness I hold fast and will not let it go: my heart shall no reproach me so long as I live. Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrihteous. For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hat gained, when Eloheem aketh away his soul? Woll Elohee hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

Eloheem explains how Satan attempts to destroy Job by causing him to transgress the Law

In Job 2:3 we read that the Eloheem testifies of Job that he retains his "Integrity" even though Satan movedst Job against Eloheem. From this we can first of all see what exactly Satan is trying to achieve, namely to see Job to transgress the Law of Eloheem.

Furthermore, the Eloheem also explains why Satan is doing what he does, becacuse in the last part of the sentence, it says, "to destroy him without cause". It is so very important to note that Satan does not have permission to destroy Job. Satan however want's to do just that and not having permission to destroy him, he tries to get Job to transgress the Laws of Eloheem. Why? Because the Laws of Eloheem stipulate that Eloheem will destroy the transgressor himself. Satan is thus trying to get Job to do what he himself is not allowed to do. Satan is trying to get Job to transgress, because should Job transgress, then Eloheem will have to destroy him, becacuse that is the Law. For this reason, Eloheem states at the end of Job2:3 "and he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause".

Job and the correct weights

Proverbs 11

Here we find the explanation of what Yahuah means. A false balance is abomination, but just weights are his delight. When pride cometh, then cometh shame, but with the lowly is wisdom. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Job 31:6

Let me be weighed in an even balance, that Eloheem may know mine integrity

With the above, one can clearly see how Integrity is the opposite of Hyprocrisy

Job is encouraged to let go of his integrity

Job 2:9 - Then said his wife unto him, Dost though still retain thine integrity? Curse Eloheem and die.
