It is very clear that Job was a loyal servant of the light. Job 1:8 states that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth Eloheem and escheweth evil. Job was also blessed with everything according to his works and there was no reason to apply any harm to him.

Satan however did attack and when he did, notice that he used these people to do so. Job 1:15 states that the Sabeans fell upon them and took them away; yeah they have slain the servants with the sword and I am the only one to escape.

Note that satan himself has not really done anything, but the sabeans did. They are thus obediant to him, under his dominium and follow his command. John 8:44 Ye are children of the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the gebinning and abode not in the truth. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own.
