What is this?

Urban dictionary has a definition for "Nostic". It describes it as a way of life for a group of people that hold similar beliefs which keeps them focused to a common goal. It can include a range of things such as style, ideas, community, etc.

The same dictionary defines "Gnostic" as: Literally, "the one who knows". Every religion has its gnostics, but Gnostic with a capital "G" always refers to Christian Gnostics. Beliefs vary widely, but essentially they value personal revelation and mysticism over dogma. Gnostic believe abolute religious truth can be known but it is only revealed towards englightened humans, and the Gnostics purported to teach secretes hat orthodox Christianity did not know. Hence, most Gnostic gospels are titled "The secret book of ....."

The greek word "gnosis" literally means "knowledge"
