			* The focus here is on the effect of the doctrine, not the doctrine itself, even though it is because of the supreme nature of the doctrine that the effect is so good.
			* What is the doctrine compared to? To rain and dew. What does rain and dew effect? It is the season of spring, the field is awakened by the watering of rain and dew, allowing life to restore after winter. So is also the doctrine, it allows that which is dead to be alive again, perhaps "reborn" if you will. Each according to their need, the small rain upon the tender herb and showers upon the grass.
			* Note on the word "herb". In modern context, these are more plants of medicinal value rather than just ordinary grasses. However per merriam Webster there is two parts to definition of this word: #1 Botany: a seed producing annual, biennial or perennial that does not develop persistent woody tissue but dies down at the end of a growing season; #2 a plant or plant part valued for its medicinal, savory, or aromatic qualities. Hence, a "herb" does include not only grass, but also specifically all sorts of food crops such as wheat, maize, beans, etc, since all those are seed producing. Note these "herb yielding see" was created in Gen1:11-12 and declared good. In Gen1:29 it is given for food

			* Bashan is a kingdom, where Og, kin of Bashan ruled. Num21:33, Num32:33, Deu1:4, Deu3:3 Yashrael conquered them on the way out of Egypt. Deu3:11 he was the last remaining of the giants. Deu3:13 Bashan was also called the land of giants. It was given to Manasseh. Deu4:47, Bashan was of the lineage of the Amorites, which is of Canaan Psa135:11. They were oppressors of the poor Amo4:1
			* The "breed of Bashan" seems to rather refer to characteristics like onto Bashan (i.e. best of the best), rather than a breed itself. Psa22:12 Strong Bulls of Bashan have beset me round. Psa68:15 as high hill as the hill of Bashan. Isa2:13 the oaks of Bashan. Eze39:18 fatlings of Bashan.

			* Perhaps this is why Yahuah was angry with Moses. Yahuah already told them to go and possess the land, yet they now decide for themselves to send men to search out the land and bring them word on what way they must go and what cities there are etc. Why would they need further information? Yahuah already told them to go, what other information do they need? They have not trusted Yahuah in this and Moses agreed to it.

			* Yahuah instructed them to go and possess the land, yet they chose not to do it and therefore disobeyed Yahuah.

			* How is it that Moses was still guilty here? Why was Moses not exempted like Caleb? I think it is because of verse 23, where Moses said that the idea to send spies pleased him well. Yahuah did not say "send spies". He said they should go and possess the land, because he has given the Canaanites in their hand, but they refused to do so and sent spies instead who told lies.

			* Now this is exactly our people. They mess up because of their stubbornness, then after realizing the mess they have made, they turn round and run full steam into the next disaster, again because of their stubbornness.
